Eagle Ridge Veteran's Ranch has been put on the back burner since it is just too big to tackle right now. Maybe revisit this in a year or tow. The ranch would have been a structured program designed to work with the body, mind, and spirit of the damaged veterans through a structured program of daily chores, life skills classes, and just getting their fingers into the dirt while gardening and tending livestock. We would have been teaching job skills like meat cutting, cooking, smoking all their own hams, bacon, sausages, jerky, preserving all the garden product, landscaping, architectural landscaping, home maintenance while maintaining their own homes, and farm and ranch hand skills. We also would have had a saw mill to mill lumber we will be able to buy for our own decks. this project has been moved to the factory. This would have been a place where the veteran can come to and "Turn down the noise in their minds". This project looks like it will totally based on donations from caring citizens.
